Crew...
Is it just me or is the Marv just plain stupid and unresponsive? I can't get him to do anything and there is no definitive explanation on how to control him.
A zoom in option when on ship or station would be nice as well.

Otherwise this is a great game! I enjoy it immensely!

Ai is still a work in progress, and one that needs lots of work time to make it acceptable so give the devs some time

Also you can give certain orders to crew like chosing a Gunnery console for them to manage clicking their portrait then the Console, or selecting them with middle mouse button then cliking the console, also with repairs you the same but.... they are kinda unreliable with that

currently crew is only good to man secondary gunnery consoles and keep the ship active while you are absent and maybe repair if you're lucky but i'd invest in repair drones if i were you =P

how do you command them to control a gunnery position ? i can only make them move around
i probably missed that

Tell them to move to a cockpit/control room that is linked to guns. They'll assume control.

If you mean that you ordered them into their posts but they didn't fire a single shot at the enemy, then you need to change your crew's faction stance via the middle mouse button after locking onto a target.

yep middle click the guy and then middle click into a console will make them move to that console and take over
