I have purchased a ship and noticed its engines and thrusters constantly take damage and get repaired mid flight. Quite often the thrusters crap out and leave my ship to spin uncontrollably.

Is this a feature? What can I do to prevent this?

Just started a new game so i have no other crew and the ship is Monolith Welder B.

I also noticed that my capacitor is constantly drained, is this the reason?
