apparently when u die while the quest is active it moves the tracker way off from its actual location just north of base

This is actually a 100% reproduceable game breaking bug. If you start a new game with a new charater, finish the tutorial and get the "First Life" quest, but before you go to the logistics room, you quit to main menu (save game), upon reload you can not complete this quest any more. The quest tracker will be in the center of the sector and not on the quest ship. If you find the quest ship anyway and enter it, the following quest dialogue will not trigger any more, and all following quests will also not trigger. The only option will be to start a new game and dont save/load during the quest this time.
