[0.8.4.02] [Missions] "Turn a profit" dependent on ship inventory?

1. got the "Turn a profit" mission while playing.
2. I've designed a ship with no cargo hold whatsoever.
3. went to designated store and sold all the gold ore i had. - mission not resolved
4. assuming there's a quota i needed to hit i used the "n" menu inside the "e" menu to get more items to sell and sold them as well - through my own inventory. - mission not resolved
5.got nack home - got a ship with a cargo full of electronic components and a single stack of 4 gold ore.
6. got back to the station to trade - quest marker shows:

Turn a profit
Station invalid

7. tried to check star map for another station - no go. all I had were a couple of mission markers:

A. Approach SCC shipyard.
B. Kill Makhi (a contract for a shady character)

Thoughts?

There are plenty of other stations to trade with, just look around.

Yeah, i can also solve it with cheat engine or in other ways, solving the mission is hardly the point now, is it? :)

It was a bug in earlier release, had to restart the universe.

Not a bug. If you read the quest, you have to trade at a station OTHER THAN the one you got the quest from. There are other independent traders within 200km. It doesn't even need to be an independent trader.
