GUI scaling and icon "behavior"
playing around with GUI Scale. Set it to 1.7 and the tool icon, bottom left, is half "greyed out". at 1 the icon is 1/4 greyed out. If it represents something then it is not the same indication depending on the GUI Scale

In general GUI scaling, even on latest version, is really uh. Janky?

Some stuff gets scaled, but overall most of the UI, especially text, just kinda vibes to own scaling.

And when you are on a hidpi monitor, well, it just feels meh.
