wich is better 1 or 2

wich is better or enhanced endless 1 or 2.. wich is more richfull of gameplay in your opinion? i ask myself if i should not skip 1 and just play 2 or ignore 2 and just play 1..

You could try starting with 1, just to get a feel for it.
In my opinion 2 is superior in most ways. But there are players (though few), that consider 1 better.

Well. I can't remember exactly what changed from 1 to 2 (been 5+ years since I played that one), other than pretty much everything feeling more refined, better polished, engaging. I remember kind of burning out after 140 hours.
I'm at 550 now and I still play 2 occasionally. Very high replayabilty, distinct gameplay for pretty much every race - I think this is one of the biggest improvements.
