Am i assuming right that you talk about mp getting stuck or is single player also out without VPN?
Game won't even load, will be stuck on " launching " forever. It has a less than 2/10 chance to boot. But with the VPN on, the game will boot immediately.
Im hoping its a steam issue, (maybe some dumb steam cloud function thats preventing boot if it can't locate cloud file ), but other games boot fine.
Game was initially downloaded without a VPN. Hence why I believe something is happening with the steam cloud saves or the background server ping for the game. Lots of games are using facebook servers or other servers that are not only blocked by chinese IPs, but also the servers themselves also block chinese IPs due to fear of DDOS attacks etc.
Another game I have, ETS2, the ProMods 3rd party mod company won't even accept a chinese email provider as an account email, says to " use a real account ". Lol.
So yes, hence the ability to access the game without issue via VPN. I will attempt a fresh install, again, without the VPN as I did before and see if that solves the issue.
Thanks.
