AI Alliances, aarrgg
So it would seem that the AIs can form an alliance to win. In these kinda games if there is an option I always try and turn off the options to form alliances, only allow certain types of victories.....like military only, etc. I just have the base game, from what I can see there are no options on the settings menu to turn those options off. Is that correct??? Thanks.

Because of the many broken issues with Alliances I keep them turned off myself.

I have the option to turn them off... but I think it's because of the ESG mod I've got installed that re-works and adds a bunch of stuff. Some people think the mod changes too much but I wouldn't play the game without it.

Okay thanks, I normally don't care for mods just because I am not good at installing them and they have to be updated when ever the game has a patch. BUT....nice to know I am not alone in feeling that the game needs to include options like that in the set up menu like many games like it do:)
