Those sizes look correct to me; there are I think four different ship sizes, from behemoth to large (carriers) to medium (hunters and coordinators) to small (almost everything else), but those proportions in your screenshot look identical to those in my game. There might be a mod to change that, though! You'd have to ask around a bit, I don't know any off the top of my head, but I would think it's something moddable. Sorry I can't be more help, but I hope someone can make this work for you!

Alright maybe im just miss remembering and it could also be the color im using, Will have to move to maybe a brighter blue option and see how that feels. I may look around for a mod but with quick glance last night i didn't see anything will try some other key words when i get a chance. I could swear some other screenshots from guides and videos on youtube their icons are bigger. maybe its just the color difference with the background. I appreciate the comment none the less.
