My first game Overwhelmingly happy to rebellious and then turning into ecologists
I've got a ton of systems, there was overpopulation in the larger planets but I have too many planets currently at 37. Everyone had been happy for ages, I started fighting the robot guys and was stomping them, then the planets I took over grew angry which was understandable, I spammed happiness technologies there, then my other planets took a dip, enough to go into forced anarchy then changed to a dictatorship. Then ecologists were auto selected as the main party despite a large majority of my people being industrialists and human (like 37?) So then people got mad they were in an ecologist based system and went into anarchy the turn after forcing it into democracy... Then after a few turns of suppressing rebellion they all voted for ecologists, now theres pirate rebellions all over the bit... I just wanna go to war man

there are some building to increse systems limit and you can carrot and stick systems who are revolting to stop (there is a small icons near approval indicator in system screen)

There should be a way to actively starve those systems to death, so the rebelling morons learn a lesson... or better just let your troops ravage through them to shut them up...

one. There is ONE such building, which comes VERY late in game and needs the system to be level 4. Worst design thinkable. Again.
Approval is riddiculously easy to manage.

If only restraint and patience was something one could build a tutorial around. I had to make due outside of game by fastening a hammer to my chair, triggering it to swing every time I make poor choices. Sadly this only works half the time as the other half just teaches you a new kink. Cannot win them all it seems.
