Jobs
So far the jobs I have available are pizza delivery and the default job. Firstly, is there any pro to the pizza job? It seems to take the same time for less money. Also can someone please tell me any better jobs, and how to get them?

Also if you want to fight the super mutant ninja crocodiles in the sewer, you need to make 2 deliveries first each time you want to fight one of them. You will get better paid jobs later, you will see. But for the time being, you have to stick with those 2 jobs.

I believe pizza delivery is less demanding on your hunger and energy. also its closer to my home , cheaper bus tickets etc. it all adds up. i prefer to deliver

Depend on you planing and schedule.
I never did pizza in my early game, the round 50 bucks is more easy to fit in a schedule.
Only pizza i delivered was for the special event.

Working on the construction site drain more energy/hunger/mood and earn 50.
Pizza delivery drain less than construction site, but earn only 30.

A steak (you prime food) cost 20.

One round in the construction let me buy 2 meats.
I need two round in delivery to buy 2 meats.
More time consuming.

So it really depend :
-Pizza for preserving hunger/energy/mood
-Construction site for preserving time.

Bobo lets you do a job that grants £100. But you can only do it a few times.

I've done the calculations to both jobs:

* Construction job: Exactly 1/2 day for 50$. That's 100$ per day. Also, it completely consumes your morale and tiredness, plus consumes your hunger deeply. The trip to the construction site is6$ by bus or 3 hours, and you can get robbed on the way by walk. You generate strenght and endurance points working here.

* Pizza delivery: A little more than 1/4 day for 30$. That's around 100$ per day. Doesn´t consume your stats so much so it lowers the recovery time and the bus ticket cost 1$, plus by walk only 1 hour so it´s harder to get robbed.

The only advantage of the construction site is that it helps keeping a bit of the Strenght and Endurance stats, but let's be honest you will need to recover (specially the Morale) from that job so much time that you could actually be spending training with Roy and having combats to learn skills so it´s slightly not worth it going to the construction site.

Those are the jobs that can be done an unlimited number of times during almost any part of the game. There are other jobs that can be done a finite number of times, or only after a certain point in the story.

Job 1: Construction job; worst job in the game. Unlocks during mandatory events in the prologue.

Job 2: Pizza delivery. Best job for low-income money grinding to fill up the fridge without totally destroying your happiness. Unlocks after you purchase 5 slices of pizza from Apu and then leave and talk to him again.

Job 3: Debt collections for Bobo. After you win 2(?) league fights, Roy will offer to be your friend and take you out drinking. If you go with him, this will unlock the Bar as a location. There is a Tyler Durden type in the parking lot who you can talk to in order to challenge some low-level street fighters. Defeating them is a valuable source of early skill points, and they should all be reliably beatable when your combined stats are getting into the 12-15 range. After winning 5 bar fights, the Tyler Durden will say you're too powerful and he can't find you any more opponents, but he'll ask for your help for his cousin Mickey. This will make the trailer park available as a location, where another Brad Pitt character, based on Mickey the bare knuckle boxer from Snatch, is having trouble with his loud neighbor, Bobo. Bobo is a boss fight that you can repeat anytime if you lose. If you defeat Bobo, he will ask for your help with his poor hearing. (His bad hearing is why he was playing the music so loud.) You can get the hearing aid he needs from the owner of the sporting goods store. When you return it, he will offer you a job. It can only be done every few days, but it costs no time, happiness, hunger, or energy, and pays $100. It's very easy money which is essential to a successful speedrun, since this lets you pay for food and train constantly during a very critical time in the game. However, Bobo will stop hiring you after a handful of shifts, I think 5 or so. He will introduce you to the Don, which provides one of your opportunities to choose the evil route if you want. However, you can work for Bobo all you like and still choose the good route as long as you turn down the Don.

When you win the amateur league, you can compete in the pro league tryouts. When you win the pro league tryouts, the game's middle chapter begins, which takes place in a different location. Which location that is depends on whether you chose the good or evil path. Either way, that location has your bed, refrigerator, and gym all in one building that you can't leave. There are no jobs and you have no need of money, since free food will be provided to you. This chapter doesn't end until you defeat each of its opponents. This can go really fast if you have the skills you need, but it can take forever if you need to learn skills you don't know, since winning and losing fights only rewards you with a few points.

When you return home, you will have begun your professional career as a pro league fighter or a crime lord.

Job 4: As a professional movie star or crime lord, you have a job available which costs money but produces more fame. Movie stars can throw epic parties, while crime lords can host poker games.

Job 5: In the professional part of the game, you also have a job available that costs fame, but produces money. Movie stars can do commercial advertising, while crime lords can make shady deals.

Job 6: Every 3 days, professionals can do a marathon fight which costs BOTH money and fame to attempt, but can pay out money and fame if you win. You can face up to 6 consecutive opponents who are each more powerful than anything else up to that point in the game. Defeating two opponents pays out enough money/fame that you can try again in 3 days. Defeating four opponents pays out enough of a profit that you can challenge your next boss level opponent with the resulting fame of 2 or 3 successful wins, and several hundred dollars that should more than cover your food needs for that time. Defeating six opponents will USUALLY let you challenge the next boss immediately, and if not then the $1500 payout will let you drink coffee instead of sleeping from that point forward, as well as buying the fame you need to challenge your next boss if you don't want to wait 3 days for another marathon fight.
