I've seen on a couple let's plays (and mentioned here on the forums) that an encounter can occur where you save Apu from a robber in the convenience store. I have not been able to trigger this encounter and I'm almost 40 days in. Assuming this is supposed to happen earlier since there is a branching story beat off of Apu that I haven't been able to unlock.

What gives? I visit the store a lot. How do I get this encounter to trigger?
