Almost died too getting that point... Friend Roy was the only way out as when you chat with him, you eat some BBQ, chill and relax so everystats go up, even if its at a way too slow pace... tooks me like 2-3 days to gather enought food+energy to go to work, get money to buy food again and keep going :)

Well, a situation where you can't progress is pretty much game over, balancing time between getting money and working out is pretty much what this game is about. Also, at the bar you can find a discarded burger that will give you penalties to Health and Mood, but will fill your hunger decently so you can at least go to work.
