Darn... My situation is almost exactly the same. I've been working on this issue for like 2 days and I'm afraid I might have to permanently delete Garry's Mod :(
Addon Conflicts/Outdated Addons: Updates can break compatibility with existing addons, leading to crashes. Having too many addons can also cause issues due to the Source engine's limitations.
Memory Issues: Gmod's default 32-bit build has a memory limit, which can be exceeded with many addons or complex scenarios, causing crashes.
Corrupted Game Files: Updates can sometimes corrupt game files, leading to instability.
Outdated Graphics Drivers/System: Your system's graphics drivers or operating system might not be up-to-date, causing compatibility problems with the new update.
Engine Limitations: The underlying Source engine, while versatile, is old and has inherent limitations that can be pushed by modern content and user creations, especially with large numbers of mods.
Thank you for the advice, but all of the things I've tried should have fixed it. :\
Thank you for your response, RiftHunter. I haven't update my graphics driver in a while and that could be the or a problem tbh. If that doesnt work it seems that a big chunk of us might have to wait till Facepunch fixes this but i have found other discussions that players are gather towards that have this exact issue. Hopfully Facepunch notices this error and finds a way to fix it.
Hmmm... Okay, I'll try it. Thanks for the advice.
Just to give some more info here; I Have restarted my laptop, uninstalled all my mods, verified files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game like twice, and I have waited a couple of minutes, nothing seems to work.
