Getting an error when attempting to run it though:
Error in Mod 'C:\Users\****\appdata\roaming\coe4\mods/randomclasses.c4m' at line 338
mod command 'spirit sight' did nothing
Followed by a CTD. Going to try overwriting it with a new random, but I figured I'd post this while it was fresh.
Edit: Tried multiple overwrites, getting the same error each time after attempting to load the mod in the main menu.
I just fixed it.
Thank you for pointing it out so fast. You're a lifesaver.
2. Leaders have Mastery rituals which level them into an entirely unrelated unit, which then Masteries into something different again. This is fun but strategically...challenging...Any way to force it to keep the same ritual path when levelling up?
3. Is there a way to force some kind of theme, however vague, on a faction, rather than pure randomization?
I was working on an option to randomize class ritual paths and forgot to remove part of it from the code
Random classes should now level up into level 3 ritual users of the same path.
Also are you able to add neutral units to the map from dominions? So the enemy has more variety outside of just the factions. Seen a mod that allows you to carry on a game vs the neutral enemies once all enemy factions are dead, so you essentially fight the wild life, events and various planes.
The generator also adds some of the gods, such as the Python and Ormr.
I could add more units in the future, but a lot of people, including myself, have released mods to add Dominion factions to COE4. For example, I made a mod that adds Fomoria and the Aboleths to the game a couple of weeks ago.
This generator wasn't really meant to be a Dominions conversion, I figured people would prefer to download separate mods if they wanted a playable faction from Dominions,. A few Dominions units were added to give the generator a little extra flavor.
You should probably look to see if your satisfied with the mods available in the modding forum, or if they have any factions you like before buying the game. Then again, the vanilla factions are pretty fun too. A lot of them share units used in Dominions.
Is there a way to create a downloadable version of the generator that will allow other modded factions to be used in it? That way I could just add lots of cool faction mods and randomise it.
Yeah i think this would be awesome. just throw every faction mod in there to flavor it up for some real fun stuff.
