Here are a few custom maps I've made using the editor.
All are huge and should be suited for maximum number of players.

allera was so called because it's all eras into one map, it has both a (small) capitol and royal castle, many cities, castles and ancient forests, and in general is a map where every faction should find all they need. But it's also rich in spawn points and has a few heavily haunted regions, so expect indies cleaning phase to take time.

innersea has an inner sea separating southern and northern part of the continent, it has a big capital and many cities and towns but also large parts of wild lands with ancient forests. Forts are more spaced than in all eras. This one map is semi random, it uses addsimpleterrains to place minor settlements.

valleys (which could have been as well named mountains, it's certainly the most rocky map ever made) features huge mountains range separating many valleys (with naturally some passes to cross them). Temperatures have been altered so those mountains are far colder than surrounding terrains even in the south, and timing your moves to cross them in summer is key to avoid being stuck, or stay near the coast where mountain ranges end. Naturally lots of mountains also means lots of mines, so the map clearly advantage gem factions (and dwarves more than any other, play them to have an easy game or against for a challenge)... Finally it has some (not necessarily good) surprises in the heart of the mountains. It said there once was a powerful magiocratic empire in the gold rich central valley, but they unleashed energies they shouldn't have trying to control elements and it ended badly for them.

archipel is a map with islands of all sizes linked by ferries (and sometimes ice bridges appearing in winter in the north). Some islands are more empire terrain with more cities and towns, some more monarchy, with less big settlements but many castles and more ancient forests. A few are very special, notably it's said one has cristal forests and one a ferry to the void. Travelling from island to island often require to take walled locations like ports or towers, or other well defended ones like temples, so I'd recommand not to use AIs under baron level as they may stay stuck forever on their starting island. Naturally play cultist if you want an easier game or against several cultists if you want a challenge.

Hi again. I think there is a bug with the Archipel map. I got a NA got gick fell! unknown map command: mapdesc. This is the only map that does this so far.
I fixed the issue. I opened it up in wordpad and added an r to the word "mapdesc" which is now "mapdescr".

Thanks A lot for the maps they really help. I would really like someone to make a mod that fixes the staring locations in the random maps though so even if you make the biggest map with a small count of Ai's theirs no way they can be right next to each other and maybe force the random map to spawn some easy villages nearby to be taken so everybody has a even battlefield. Don't know if that's possible with the modder right now but it would make the game a lot more fun.
