But i think in coe4 the angels are a bit better because
a) they suicide less; i even saw often angels retreat, when too powerful armies were near
b) strong units got in coe4 stronger due to different battle mechanics/resolution/battle field
As for B, yeah, that is true, but they still get wrecked easily by other tougher units like horrors or necromancers or liches, etc. I was hoping they would provide me with some counters against doomstacks which voice lacks quite baddly, but it is just the opposite as they get obliterated by a decent enemy army.
A notable exception is the orphan against non-magical enemies, as it can erase whole armies of them due to being invulnerable to non-magic and I have found it to be the only semi-decent combatant among the angels.
If it was your mod, thank you - it was fun to see angels go in with multiple melee attacks along with thier spellcasting and added durability - it really made them look like proper angels instead of the weaklings they are in vanilla coe (for example the seraph often kills himself and his own army with his rain of meteors spell).
what mod is that, I was working on something to assist angels saints etc, if you already have it, i'll abort as it may not be needed...
I do wish to say that the balance mod did not actually balance everything and there were some things it left weak and others that it made brutally rigged (like vampires).
Would not make sense to use these modifications; they were aimed at having e.g. arch angel to be powerful enough to face 200+ forces.

Can the mod be downloaded anywhere?
