[Request] Angelic Voice of Reason and/or Angel Buff mod
In coe3, the angelic voice of reason made it at least mildly worthwhile to break the seals by removing stupid from the summons, and there was another mod I forgot the name of that made angels rather dangerous combatants to fight who (at least for the stronger ones) could even solo smaller armies (but kept thier stupidity). Is there any chance we could get these mods for coe4?

I ask because in the current state, it is not really worth unlocking the later seals, and much better to just spam blessing upgrades.

That might have been my mod with the stronger stupid angels; have not yet come to mod cardinal of el, stuck with demo at moment.

But i think in coe4 the angels are a bit better because
a) they suicide less; i even saw often angels retreat, when too powerful armies were near
b) strong units got in coe4 stronger due to different battle mechanics/resolution/battle field

Saddly, I have not experienced much of them not suiciding, as they seem to do that plenty for me and it has been many times when a saint or angel decides to try to take on the capital with all its npcs with only a few flagilants along with him.

As for B, yeah, that is true, but they still get wrecked easily by other tougher units like horrors or necromancers or liches, etc. I was hoping they would provide me with some counters against doomstacks which voice lacks quite baddly, but it is just the opposite as they get obliterated by a decent enemy army.

A notable exception is the orphan against non-magical enemies, as it can erase whole armies of them due to being invulnerable to non-magic and I have found it to be the only semi-decent combatant among the angels.

If it was your mod, thank you - it was fun to see angels go in with multiple melee attacks along with thier spellcasting and added durability - it really made them look like proper angels instead of the weaklings they are in vanilla coe (for example the seraph often kills himself and his own army with his rain of meteors spell).

what mod is that, I was working on something to assist angels saints etc, if you already have it, i'll abort as it may not be needed...

The mod called itself "balance mod 1.107" and did more than just buff stupid angels but buffed many other things. I never found a coe4 version.

I do wish to say that the balance mod did not actually balance everything and there were some things it left weak and others that it made brutally rigged (like vampires).

Would not make sense to use these modifications; they were aimed at having e.g. arch angel to be powerful enough to face 200+ forces.

By the way, Carn, I saw you let the links to your CoE3 Balance mod go dead.
