I am thinking of trying to make a small change to the way summons work so that they can actually be useful, as having them appear well behind your main force makes them mostly useless unless you are in a huge battle.

I want to change the "Edge of Battlefield" placement mechanic to make them appear at the front lines or near it.

Is this possible and how easy would it be to accomplish?
