Game crashing when I connect a cable

Everytime I connect any electric devices my game crashes, when I come back, the cable is there working, but it continue happening when I do other connections.

This was not happening before the new updates.

I'm experience a similar crash upon attempting to place PAINT DECALS as well.

I've done a quick-and-dirty fix. The game won't crash but it will do a full chunk mesh regeneration as opposed to an optimised decal regeneration when you place a decal, or cable.
