Does someone have a tutorial on how to use cheats to copy paste floors?
I remember someone mentioning that there's a cheat code for copying one floor and placing it on top of another. How does that work exactly? I remember reading about it, somewhere.

I'm hoping on creating a brand new addition to the Voxel City skyline. Here is what I've made so far. I think I'm off to a good start, but it will take forever for me to make this apartment building ten or twelve stories, if I try to do so manually. Notice that the first floor isn't the same as the second floor. I want to be able to copy the second floor and paste it onto the top of the building until I reach the desired height. I'm hoping that someone can help me with that, since I don't know how to do it.

Also, almost as important as the previous question, what's the maximum height a building can be in Voxel Turf?

128m high.
Make sure that each side and top is at least 1 block away from the boundary otherwise you might have lighting issues.

You can use /lot save (n/s/e/w) filename (height) to save a lot from height if specified) to the top of the building
Then you can use /lot load (n/s/e/w) filename (height) nofill to load a lot without filling the floor with earth. Use this to place floors in buildings.

Do not use /copy as it will copy electronic blocks, but not cables or the plugs for the cables.

If height is omitted then its assumed to by your y position - 1.

Thanks, Snapper The Twig. :steamhappy:

I'll try that when I'm finished with the second floor! I hope I'm able to get that to work.

Be sure to save backups often! Its very easy to mess up and lose your work (learned from experience here....)

Guess what Snapper the Twig?

It worked. Now I just also have to delete the tops of those trees I made, add a roof, and we should be good.

Just curious. Once you saved something as a template. How do you detemplate something if you placed a template and want to modify it? I was in the process of trying to build a building, saved the base as a template (as a custom building), then messed up a copy command, tried to reload my template. And then attempt to detemplate the template to modify again. Yet there does not seem to be an option to go back and redo this. Which would really bum me out because I was doing quite a bit of construction on this building.

EDIT: Nevermind, I realized modifying the template allows resaving. Got freaked out not noticing the icon immediately
