An observation about market saturation
I get why market saturation was implemented as a game mechanic. It is to prevent someone from doing just one thing over and over to earn money.

However it makes no sense that a concept such as market saturation only applies one way. If I get less for selling wood for example because I sell a lot of it then the store that sells me tons of glue should also be affected by market saturation and the price of glue should be reduced the more I buy.

I get why this might not be beneficial to game play but it is logically consistent. I think market saturation should be removed from the game as it is not that in depth or serious to matter. Just let people play and sell what they want to.

Will this mean that some cooked items or crafted items are not really worth making? Yes it will mean that but a market saturation debuff is not the solution.

A proper solution is to vary prices with different merchants to incentive selling to different merchants to get different prices. This would be in the form of a buff instead of a debuff.

Base pricing of things in the shipping station would be static. They would not give a bonus but would also not be reduced when a vendor doesn't want more of an item. This would be a wholesale price and lower over all than direct vendor selling.
