Time lock?
Is there anything in this game that if you don't do something it will lock you out of doing it forever? The reason why I ask this is I am taking the time to gathering stuff to build houses for the new residents and I am curious if I don't do it fast enough something bad might happen? Also if there are any events that might also be time locked I am very curious about this and would be very happy if someone could answer these questions thank you for taking the time to do so.

You can take as long as you want to complete things since there is no penalty or time limit. There are daily quests that expire at midnight, but no penalty if you don't do them. I do recommend that you get through the 8-9 part tutorial as quickly as you can, but that is only because you need to have it completed in order to get the quest to unlock the shipping catalogue/station.

Thank you this helps alot I was worried because I have two houses to build and I was worried I would miss something be working on them thank you for answering my question.
