Cirahna cannot path up "Carpet" Layers while no home is present.
This applies to grass too:

She'll run into the layer, and angrily stare in the direction she wants to go before teleporting (slightly glitchy mind you) onto the layer a few tiles ahead.

In addition, she cannot travel up one tile high blocks either, in the same way.
