Staxel
Worlds Not Loading
I've been wanting to get back into Staxel for a while now, but worlds just don't load anymore. The bar will get halfway, then the music starts and it goes no further. I can open the menu, go to character customization, "teleport to home", etc. but nothing ever happens. I definitely meet the requirements, the game is on an SSD with a good amount of space left, and I haven't really had this much of a problem last time I tried playing it. I do have some 150 or so mods, but I like all of them and am not sure about cutting down on the number. Is there any alternative?

eh, the MODS are not the problem, have You tried reinstalling the Game? it could be the MODS, you didn't purchase any upgrades on your computer before playing?

It seems like it both is and isn't the mods. Tried reinstalling and like before, the game on its own works fine, but when I install the mods, it starts the same issue as before. What I did notice, however, is that after the mods install and I try to start the game normally, the loading launcher thing says something's wrong and I need to validate files on Steam before I can play.

I tried reinstalling the mods and bypassing the checker by launching through the files and that's working, though it's not ideal since for some reason, my task bar keeps randomly flashing despite being in fullscreen. Not sure how to fix that...

Did you try running the game after using the mod manager to install your mods? Seems odd that the game would work by using the exe in the folder but not through Steam. When you use the mod manager the game doesn't have to do the installation (saves a step) and only has to build the world files to integrate the mod info into it.
To install mods through the mod manager (and you can use this to validate the mods as well) click on the play button on the game page in your library. It will ask you what you want to do, choose mod manager. It will pop up a window and there are options in there to choose from

I've always made sure to check the mod manager. But I did find out what was wrong pretty late last night. Turns out a couple mods were conflicting. Once I got that sorted, it started working just fine.
