The editor doesn't seem to open...
So, here's how it goes for me.

First, I take a look at a few mods available in the workshop and download the ones that interest me.
Since I'm aware that I need to open the game's editor to get them to work, I do as I'm supposed to.

... There's one problem.
When I choose the game to launch the editor first, Steam shows me that I'm currently running the game... And then, it stops.
Absolutely nothing happens.

Don't understand why is it like that though.
Although my laptop is very not-made-for-gaming, it is able to play the game at a decent framerate, so I'm pretty sure that's not the case why the editor never opens for me.

As a workaround, you can find the mod packages in steam/steamapps/workshop/content/405820. Copy of the kpf files for the mods you want to play, then make a "mods" folder in steam/steamapps/common/Turok, and paste the kpf files in there. They'll then be loaded automatically when you run the game normally.

Do I have to delete the 'mods' folder when I want to play the core game unmodded?

Either that, or you could just rename it something other than "mods." That way if you ever want to re-enable them, you can just rename it back to "mods," rather than copying everything over again.
