Okay thanks. I have realised that sometimes the dependency can be back ON the tank itself, this happened with an exhaust manifold and the exhaust on the M3 Half Track. I had the engine outside the vehicle and on the hoist, but it would not let me take off the exhaust manifold until I returned to the tank and removed the exhaust, I think something similar was happening with those wires.
