This happened to me with another tank. I was disassembling it and turned on assembly mode and the holograms were still there. I went to warehouse and sold unrepairable parts, from this point on holograms weren't displayed anymore for parts I didn't have in my warehouse. So the problem with both tanks I did today was exactly this:
no parts = no holograms.
The only difference is if I assembled part A, on which part B depended, hologram for part B would show only until I swtched to disassembly and assembly mode. It takes hitting 2 and 1 in succession on the keyboard to stop being able to see those holograms as long as I don't have parts.
Fuel problem was a problem on my end. I didn't fill rear tank on Maus. Two tanks full aren't enough, it seems.
