Zoom on magnetometer broken?

It used to work properly, but now it's zoomed out and basically pointless.

I did search and find someone else with the issue, but no solution. Restarting the game does not reset it, its been happening for weeks.

If I may add to the topic: - magnetometer and laptop sometimes open and show the south-west corner of the map. While you may drag the map with your mouse on the laptop, magnetometer's map cannot be repositioned and it's stuck showing that corner until the end of the excavation.

Also, magnetometer radar icon does not move with magnetometer but along with metal detector. So if you pick up magnetometer only, it's icon on the radar stays where the quad is. If you pick up metal detector after, both icons on the radar move with it.
