I was trying TMS on Geforce Now. To my disappointment it was complaining about being unable to sync savegames several times. After six or seven tries the game finally started and after I entered the garage I was shocked that everything was gone, all my 45 millions, all my 200+ tanks and all upgrades. I started a completely new game!

I exited TMS on Geforce Now and started my copy on Steam again. It said something about non-matching files and if I wanted to download the newer files from the cloud or upload the old ones from my computer. I chose option two (they were a day old) and the saves in the cloud got replaced by the ones on my HDD. So I thought.

After loading the game and entering the garage I still had only 10k money and no tanks/upgrades. :(

Luckily there were some older savegames and one of it was only a few days old. I loaded it and it was working and almost everything was there again (minus a few tanks I restored in the meantime). But now all few loads everything is gone again and I have again the 10k savegame. I disabled the cloud save feature and still get the 10k savegame.

Worse, sometimes I still have all my upgrades and money but all my tanks in the museum and warehouses are gone! So I never know if everything is still there after loading TMS until I check it. That is Schroedingers TMS for me at the moment and it is no fun to loose progress because the savegames have been cursed again.

How can I get stable and reliable saves again?
