I noted my graphics card didn´t cool down while the game is minimized and my computer eats a few KWh extra split over the week, while I play Tank Mechanic Simulator.

Could that behaviour be changed? I really like to minimize my games to task bar, if I want to take a break from gaming. But here I really note it on the electricity bill, if I don´t exit the game.
