I personally really like this game, I played it for years growing up. However I will admit I think it has a few flaws and was wondering what features and mechanics others think a game like this deserves to have.

I'll start...
1. Bring back the huge faction skirmishes where there could be 6 or more factions on a map, looking at you Stronghold Crusader.
2. Further define each faction structures and abilities, each are unique but only with a few differences mainly special units and wheat.
3. More customization? Could be good if done right, could also be horrendous if done poorly.
4. And finally a day and night cycle to make the passage of time more apparent.
