A few ideas and some feedback.
I haven’t looked at what other people have suggested yet, or any planned features of the game. This is simply based on the ~6 hours I’ve played so far.

I took inspiration from similar games I’ve played in the past, such as “Rock Manager” and “Popmundo”.

Gameplay ideas:

Calendar and time management:
Adding a calendar and the ability to plan out a full week’s worth of events/activities. It would eliminate the frantic clicking, trying to keep a constant Refine skill/Busking streak going.
The game would become abit more passive, but you could spend that extra time looking through statistics and looking around the world map for new opportunities; which city to play next, where to rehearse & record, etc.

Crew:
Adding crew to the band could be a good boost to the show quality, and have other benefits as well. Just as an example:
- Sound Tech - Improves performance.
- Stage FX Tech - Improves visual experience.
- Street team - Selling merchandise outside the gig for extra money.
- Driver: Automatically drives you to the next town, before the gig/event.
- Accountant: Reduce overall expenditures.
- Lawyer: Reduce negative penalties for failing to honour a contract.
All of these could come with new random events of their own.
Maybe one day, you realize that the accountant you hired, have been skimming of the top, but they have done such a good job so far, that you might not want to fire them on the spot.
Or the driver got really drunk last night, and ended up driving the band vehicle to the wrong city, while the band slept in the back.
And perhaps have the crew get some unique traits/perks and skills of their own, that levels up the longer they work for you.

UI ideas:

World map display:
Currently when you hover the mouse cursor over a city, you’ll see the Name/Fame/Population there. As you unlock new cities to play in, keeping track of where all the studios/record labels/video shoots, etc, are located, becomes quite the clickfest.
So if you added the icons of each thing available in the city, to the world map as you hover the cursor over it. It would save time and clicking, when you’re looking for something specific.

Another thing that could be quite handy, is a display of the travel time between the city you’re currently in, and the city you’re hovering the cursor over. With the band’s current vehicle.
This might not be relevant from the start, but once you start touring heavily, knowing how long a trip will take, will make it alot easier to play schedule tetris. So you don’t book a show 5 hours from now, but got a 12 hour drive to get there.

Tension:
It took me quite some time to realize what the smiley face with the plus and minus symbol meant. And it’s still isn’t really obvious what it means, atleast to me.
In other games I’ve played, tension or pressure, have been indicated with a thermometer icon, with a red “+” next to it, when it’s rising. Or a blue “-”, when it’s lowering.

Bandmate relations:
Right now, it’s not really clear if it represents the tension between the members, or how much they like each other, just by looking at it.
A simple fix, could perhaps be to stick a happy smiley on the left side, and an angry smiley at the far right. To easily show that a more filled in bar is a bad thing.

Tooltips for skills:
Having these from the start, even if it says nothing other than “Writing skill”, or “Stage presence”, etc, would be enough to know which band member to hire.
I know this is an early access build, and tooltips for everything will come at some point down the line, but I’m having a hard time seeing and figuring out what the 4 skill icons mean, so having even a minimal tooltip would help alot.

Different coloured pop-ups:
It’s a very minor thing, in the grand scheme of things. But being able to visually differentiate between the various pop-ups, just by glancing at them, would be a nice little thing to have.
I’ve sold songs by accident, when I’ve just clicked on the pop-up thing that appeared, rather than read it properly.
(I know, it’s an easy issue to solve, just pay attention and read.)

Optional text size:
Sometimes it’s hard for me to read the small text, with the current font. So having the option to resize the text, would be pretty sweet. But I’d imagine that it would require some serious overhauling of some of the graphical assets, to accommodate the bigger text size.

Misc things:

Windowed mode and resolution settings:
Again, It’s a very minor thing, in the grand scheme of things. But having the ability to choose from a few different fixed screen resolution options, when you’re playing in windowed or borderless mode, would be quite nice to have. Rather than trying to adjust it yourself.
(Especially helpful when you’re recording or streaming the game)

That’s what I got so far. I’ll update this and add more stuff as I think of new things.
Keep up the great work!

Update 1:

Other ways to make money:
When your instrument skill is high enough, you could unlock the ability to tutor others.
Taking longer to do, and earning more money, but get less fans than busking.

When your fame gets high enough, you could unlock the ability to hold workshops at the local music store.
Taking abit longer to do and earning less money, but getting more fans.
And as a thank you for the added traffic to the store, for the rest of that day, any instrument bought by that artist could have a discount.
This would be extra beneficial if instruments degraded in quality over time, and had to be replaced.

We really appreciate you taking the time to write everything and we will take most of these points under serious consideration.

OK since we have a good suggestion topic here i'll just reply my suggestions here from now on.

I do need to check tension for planning what to do and when to do next. Maybe putting it to the main screen is a good idea? Like here : http://imgur.com/a/DLIKn

And also i agree with Kallenar, tension points, smiles, colors they take a while to understand. Simplifying it will be good for the new players.

I actually wrote that down and mentioned that to Panos today. I think with time, a new tension display will make its way into the main UI as you've shown in your image.
