The game crashed and all my data is gone

I was playing this game just as usual, but suddenly black screen happened and my laptop restarted by itself. After that happened, I immediately went back to playing this game only to discover that my 30+ hours of playthrough (RIP

) is gone....

The save data is still there but everything is gone. All my companions in the party and also including myself is back to level one and buck naked, my own captains don't even recognize me as their leader, etc. The point is EVERYTHING I've built is gone like it never existed

Is there a way to recover from this somehow?

I have no idea if you can save your current save. (the captains not recognising you as their leader especially seems like a serious issue).

What you could perhaps do is make a new game and edit in stuff that you had.
You could use Morgh's Warband editor also, but it is easier to start a new game and just give yourself alot of money to buy back everything that you had before and editing your stats, by exporting the character stats, then editing the .txt file in Notepad and importing it again. (in character screen > Statistics).

The Characters files save in C:\Users\Username\Documents\Caribbean!\Characters

Maybe it is safer to have multiple saves (which I know isn't helpful if playing "no exit without saving").

I hope some of this helps you or that others come up with better solutions.

Hey man, thank you for replying to this post. Just like you said, there is no saving of my previous save because I was playing in the "no exit without saving" mode. It's like the file has gone corrupted during the black screen. I like the idea that you mentioned of making a new game and edit in all the stuff I had. Unfortunately, I'm the kind of hardcore player who likes to torture myself in a game. Nevertheless, thank you so much for replying to this post and I hope none of this will ever happen to anyone.
