You might want to try updating your graphic drivers.
Also, can you try to verify the game files from the properties menu of steam.

You can try to change it in the settings menu, if you can see the settings button. Or you can delete the Settings.set in a sub-folder of %userprofile%\appdata\locallow\NoClip\Zombie Night Terror\

It's a long shot, but I would try running with the least amount of programs in parallel. Close anything that could interfere with the game, an antivirus, anything that add overlay (teamspeak, mumble, etc.). You can also try to disable the Steam Overlay.
By running the game with the bare minimum, we can rule out external interference if that doesn't fix it. But make sure there is nothing dispensable running.
The simplest solution might be to try with an fresh windows account.
But OK I can get it to work in 1280x768 which isn't a complete disaster and it's playable, fun and visually ok because of the art style. Not ideal of course!
I've noticed that when I try different resolutions in Windowed mode it really thinks it's chosen a portrait not landscape resolution - as in the actual window frame is sized to a portrait scale not a landscape one.
Something I've thought of is both of my screens can rotate to portrait mode which is why in the resolution options I have some portrait resolutions showing I guess (selecting those doesn't help). That's probably not a common configuration to come across and maybe that's confusing the games aspect ratio and screen mode selection in some way?
So my best is there is a screen configuration somewhere that result in this problem, but I don't what it is.
I'll try to find something on the web, I'll get back to you if I find something.
