different profiles have more than 1 character

I think it would be cool if we can keep our level 99 character, but also have a second profile we can start over on, even if we gotta buy a whole other copy.

Those days are long gone. I remember having several Battlefield 2 profiles for a friend and 2 brothers. You could also create local accounts in CoD4. I hate how everything is locked to a single account now.
