The Milk Mission
It's not what you think.

I played this game before the Milk Patch was enabled. Where dropping it, one hit while carrying, collateral damage in combat, would kill the bottle.

Today I ran it through in its new state. This is perfect. Keep it as is.

It got hit 3 times in its journey to Cyndi's house. Thrown twice by me and collaterately hit twice in the forest. It was tough, but not so tough I wanted to Ragequit.

May every patch be this good. :steamhappy:

If this is true, it may have just saved the game for me. I was ready to drop it and never come back due to that stupid milk run.

i used the subway and was able to finish the mission with no problems.

The patch helps a little, but doesn't even begin to justify keeping it in the game. The only true patch to the milk mission is to remove it entirely.

Yea, the milk mission, like most other parts of this game, is complete ass.

I'm playing with the patch, at level 12. Trying to go through the forest, which might have been a mistake, because you can't move laterally in many screens in order to dodge guys. Not to mention you can't jump as high or run as fast. So basically I have to put the bottle down every screen and fight every dude before moving on. I cannot fathom accomplishing this prior to the patch.

If I didn't have a health item and level up during all this BS, I would have died. But I get back to the house anyway, stand in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ OPEN doorway, but I can't get in because there's a bunch of cheerleaders or some ♥♥♥♥? Even after the little dialogue (which I notice prevents you from traversing screens) I stand in the open doorway for seconds at a time but can't get in the house. So of course after a moment I get hit and drop the damn milk, finally shattering it. Then afterwards (because of course) I can enter the house. Brilliant. Just, top-notch stuff.

I saw someone say the forest route was less of a hassle than the subway, but I wonder.
