Is it just me or do the level 20 reload animations feel slower?

Title. I've hit reloading 20 twice now (one coop one solo) and usually its never been during active use (in combat) but going from 19-20 reloading in the middle of a fight with the antique shotgun really makes me feel like the level 20 reloading animations are slower? has anyone done an actual test on this?

Are you judging off the animation itself or the time between when you start to reload and when the ammo counter updates? I've noticed the pistol animation lasts a tiny bit longer than the actual reload period and can be cancelled out of.
