I play this game all by myself, and it’s a lot of fun solo imo. :cozybethesda:

generally asking , is the game like rust ( no story and just surviving ) or there is a story and a progression system something like the forest

There is a start and end to the game. Progression is a learn by doing system. The more you shoot, farm, fish, fight etc. the better you get at it. I'd compare it to Grounded

Yeah, like the guy above said, it's more like Grounded, where there's a story and an end. It's more of a linear game with many, many branches and paths. Think of it as something similar to Dark Souls level design, pushing to a goal and unlocking a bunch of shortcuts and unlocking new things to make and learn and places as you push further in the game story.

The game is also really good for solo play the devs did a good job at making it a single-player and co-op game.

I'm at 125hrs in my first playthrough and finaly beat it, I played like 70% of it solo the rest with my Nephew and his mom taking turns in coop it's a massive game that could take to 40hrs or 100hrs it really matters on how you play and how much you mess around and explore.

Also the game doesn't feel like a coop game when playing solo that's how good of a job the devs did for the singpleplayer side.

Depending on who you play with the co-op experience can be worse than just playing it solo. There's a story to the game and if your co-op partner wanders off or plays when you aren't, you could miss story beats.

If everyone actually works together and progresses together and is generally a sane chill human being, it's fine, but good luck finding people like that lol.

It's also on gamepass so that's a cheaper route.

The game is totally viable for solo play if thinking otherwise has been holding you off, you can even tweak certain parameters to make it less tedious, I have been enjoying it all on my own from the start.

It honestly feels better playing solo and changes how you approach the game a good bit, plus you can actually take your time and fully immerse yourself in the lore without worrying about wasting other people's fun.

Yeah I like taking my time and playing at my own pace, also from what I've seen, the multiplayer kinda trivializes the tense aspect of the game so it would indeed be a whole different experience.

So far I'm liking the lore, I make sure to listen to every recording because I like what they've come up with for this universe, I'm not sure I would have taken the time to enjoy that if I played with friends.
