Emet and the bots
Is there a trick to avoiding those bots? They move too fast for me <|:(

Thanks for the tip, but I tried that, it didn't seem to have any effect :(

These types of split-second timing puzzles ruin point-and-click games. If I wanted to be racing around, dodging things, I'd play a first-person shooter.

I really don't understand, this stupid timing crap just ruins everything good about this game. :( I just gave up

This is an old post, but for this part just don't use the Mouse at all.

Hold Shift and use the Arrow keys to move, and then press Z when you get to the table to pick up the gun.

You want to go UP first, and then path around the crate so that the droids follow along that path. Then quickly run to the table and pick up that gun.

I think I have to put the game on hold until I can find someone with less neural lag than I have.

I only ask that the authors consider us less-skilled players next time, and offers a way to skip the action scenes after 5 failures or so. Either that, or list that the game is more than just a pure adventure/rpg. RPGMaker really isn't the best engine for it.

The section is simultaneously too cramped and too open. There's no room or time to learn the robots' movement patterns, you need to know the correct path before you start and follow it immediately and perfectly. This would have worked way better as a turn-based puzzle. As a combat android, Emet should be able to think and react faster than the human player.

There is an easy trick for it..

I can't DO this. I have crap reaction time, it's why I play puzzle games instead of action games. I was doing fine until I hit this point and now I may never get to finish the game. :steamsad:

I hear your pain. I started this thread when I hit this roadblock and haven't gone back to the game again in all this time :(
I just happened to see this discussion after getting to this part of the game, but for me there is very much an option to stop after 2 droids. You have to say "Hey Doc lets do it with 3" or whatever, and then as soon as you fail it has a dialogue option to either agree with the doctor that its impossible or tell him you want to try again.

I'm assuming the game went through an update or so many people wouldn't be saying that the game was forcing you to beat all 3 bots and stopping your progression.
