[default][192.comic] Mounted Police has no carriage before retirement
the Police Carriage for the mounted police stops beeing built 3 years before the retirement of the mounted police, which makes the mounted Police unuseable.

That's intentional. prisoners and valuables need protection to come with them, which in early years is just a policeman on a horse. You can think of it the same way as a tender ;)

without any trailer or coaches which transport them that would make no sense

Ah, I see, the carriage retires '32, the mounted police '35. So indeed, for 3 years, it's a rather lonely rider.

ok now I understood it. it's not the front horse but a "seperate" one at the back.

it's confusing because a seperate escorting man on a horse at the back wouldn't add any weight or power to a horse drawn carriage infront.
