[default][Win10] Installed Paks button at main menu

hitting the Installed Paks button at main menu will cause a "download-pakset.exe" could not be found error.

You were also right when you said windows caused borderless to not be truly borderless but some sort of fullscreen.

Thus, there is nothing to fix with the borderless status as it's a Windows "Feature".

Instead, to fix this issue Simutrans will exit fullscreen mode when opening the installer, and then return back to fullscreen when the installer has finished.

The fix is already incorporated in the development version and will come soon in the next bugfix release. Thank you for your report.

Sorry,I totally overlooked this. Since there's no extra file needed on linux, and the build system didn't generate any for windows (that's something to be corrected). It should be fixed in the default branch by now.

now it doesn't show the error but made Simutrans unresponsive. Only after I click on simutrans to trigger the force close Win window. therefore Simutrans quits but let me see and use the Pakset Installer.

Weird. For me it does open the pak installer, but Simutrans doesn't close and it comes back to the pakset selection screen after the installer has finished, with the new paksets added.

You can't use the pakset installer without closing Simutrans?

Yes because fullscreen forces the focus to simutrans while it beeing unresponsive (ALT+TAB, or WIN+D don't work, forces back to black screen of unresponsive simutrans).

Windowed i can interact with pakset installer but simutrans is unresponsive until that.
after closing pakset installer simutrans is responsive again

But Simutrans on Steam is not exclusive fullscreen but borderless fullscreen window, we talked about this already :/

ask that MS, why it does that with unresposive fullscreen screens.^^

Well... I'll report this later this month, but this is low priority for me since players on Steam should be using Steam anyway. I'm even thinking in disabling it, dunno.

Simutrans is exclusive fullscreen at least in Win or rather it seems so: you can't see any other overlayed programs like videoplayer, etc. That's how the old and real fullscreen works, only the "game" has all GPU resources, everything else is unloaded.
the "new" fullscreen is often only borderless fullscreen mean it's only a virtual layer of the screen full size. (safes a lot of time when ALT+TABing alot).
or it just forces to be the topmost.

Fine. You are right. Some old (and mistaken) comments in the code led me to believe that SDL_WINDOW_FULLSCREEN_DESKTOP was borderless while SDL_WINDOW_FULLSCREEN was fullscreen. But there's actually SDL_WINDOW_BORDERLESS too, according to the documentation (https://wiki.libsdl.org/SDL_WindowFlags), so that sets thing clear.

If it wasn't for you, we would have never realised the code has been wrong all this time. Thank you very much for your report, I shall work on this as soon as posible.
