You wont have to pay the Micro$oft tax, and this game runs fine under WINE if you use the MS tool script from the Mint repository. (will install things like dot net, DX-9, and many other things microsoft, including your fonts if there is a windows installed on another partition.)
If you use WINE please state that if you post bug reports.
