How to reform party in the garden?

I need a Julia in my party to enter the castle, but I don't know how to add her to my party? They said go to the garden, but i can't find the option there, and talking to her doesn't do anything

Figured it out, you need the Menu buttons for that (I play with controller, so i turned them off.) The reform party button is in the top left

If you're using a standard controller similar to that of an XBOX or Playstation controller, I believe the Start Button also brings up the party menu.

If clicking things was actually mandatory, I would flip my proverbial excrement.

This was very helpful. I was kicking myself to find out how to change party members. Since im using a controller, it didnt show up, but pressing START brings up the party menu.
