Not Cloud Syncing from Steam Deck

Hello,

I started playing this game on my PC, to get my save transfer set up from SC to 3rd. That worked out well, so I started playing the game on my Steam Deck, which also worked out nicely, with my save from the PC syncing to the Steam Deck.

However, when I tried to go back the other way, to continue play on my PC, the PC version didn't sync its save with the one in the cloud.

I confirmed both devices showed that the sync was current, but my saves on the PC are considerably older than my saves on the Steam Deck.

If push comes to shove, I do have a dock for my Steam Deck that can output it to a TV, and a controller I can use with it, but that's not my first choice.

Can anyone help with this?

There's already a thread about this issue in SC's forum. Tl;dr it seems to be Steam's fault and the only way to force the saves to sync properly is to reinstall the game.

have the exact same issue. Well, I guess I will be only playing on my deck in that case. I don't want to reinstall the whole game and patch it with a voice mod every time that I need to sync the saves.
