You can see how long the parry state lasts from the frame you pressed it till the animation resets into the idle/movement state.
So as long as you are parrying while being hit it will work. So study when enemy attacks land, visually ALL enemies will have the big swing visible in the "active frame" when the collision is actually checked.
Spamming it against combo attacks usually wont work because if you missed the first parry, and immediately parry right after 7/10 times you will also miss the second and third attacks (this was intentionally made this way)
Hope this helps.
With it you can see when you can parry: your opponent will briefly flash in blue.
The parry window is pretty generous so it shouldn't take too long for you to get the hang of it^^
Don't forget that you can parry with your sword but also with your gun!
Also yes, if you shoot them ANY time during this period it will parry, so if you are good at lining up parry with the gun is easier.
Kudos on the dance hall, that was a nice surprise.
C and D are the bad ones and the ones hard to change, so good job sparing the Knights :)
It also said in the ending that reclaiming the throne might be hard without the knights. I was never ordered to kill them, i must've had something personal against them.
Got the ending B achievement though.
