Official Resubmerged Bug Report Thread
Hey folks! So we love all of the feedback we have been seeing around the forums, and we want to collect all of the issues people are having in one place. This is the new official bug report support thread for the Resubmerged update. Any issues that you are experiencing with the current main branch of the game, please post about them here in as much detail as possible, and we will help sort them out! We are a very small team so it may not be an immediate response/fix, but we want to make sure everyone has a headache-free Diluvion experience!

Currently Reported Issues:

- Manual save causing issues with player inventory, upgrades, and gold amount
- Save game adds "_autosave" or "copy" onto most recent save file ad infinitum
- Ship AI can sometimes mark buildings as hostile, attacking them indefinitely
- BOSS SPOILER: Yamato Boss docking icon does not appear after destroying comm tower
- Sometimes procedurally placed explorable docking area can push player ship outside of map boundary
- Procedural explorables in Fjords can sometimes fly around due to physics bug
- Issues with different gamepad types not working: Steam controller, PS4 controller, Xbox One controller
- NPC characters suddenly cannot be interacted with and do not respond to player trying to initiate dialogue
- Items sold to merchants/traders sometimes do not leave inventory, but still appear to give player gold
- Additional loot items spawning inside player's inventory at high volumes
- Trying to add Brother Miras to an already full crew can result in the questline breaking
- The letter "I"/"i" can appear as an empty box ingame
- Issues with framing on non-16:9 monitors
- Graphics options reverting resolution selections. Sometimes from 60hz to 30 hz, sometimes 144hz to 60hz etc
- Some performance spikes during prolonged play sessions
- Retreating from Hazard battle and then re-entering resets the Hazard attack countdown
- Player homebase can be difficult to locate
- Kuberi Gunship from the Icer Drill quest can spawn and be destroyed prior to recieving the quest.
-Sailor and officer dialogue is catalogued in reverse order. The oldest dialogue stays at the top of the list, and the newer/immediately relevant dialogue pops up underneath. This leads to odd scenarios where crew and officers will comment on sometimes very old past events when you speak to them, before getting to dialogue relating to current game events
-cannot purchase Huron at Spirios Shipyard
-Icer Drill location disappears and player can pass through outside the map
-Saber still flips backwards in ocean currents
-Cannot store "Blue Heatstone" in storage inventory
-"Minesweeper" quest doesn't display the final questline compass speaking to Kat
-"Unnamed station" popping up inside Sunken Coast interiors
-Sunken Coast map cuts off Clifftop Gardens icon
-After forging protection against Deeps Resentment, the quest doesn't get marked as "complete"
-On loading save game, sometimes sailors will rapidly cycle through their stations indefinitely https://imgur.com/a/aFB40bJ
-Sul rear canon fires towards the player instead of the crosshairs
-After completing "Saving Gregory" the player can get locked into the Birchton sideview, unable to leave and unable to progress dialogue
-Brother Miras questline can be broken if done out of order. Arriving at the Flame Fingers before receiving the quest gives player the "nothing here" radio chatter which leads to the dialogue between Ivan and the crew about following the cannisters. The quest then won't progress past "Search the Flame Fingers" stage once it has been activated from Crevasse Edge
-Naglfar can be destroyed with enough damage
-Snapper displays extra open Forge slots that are unavailable
-Chikyu's ship still follows player after completing the Wreath quest
-Text during opening movie is difficult to read against the background
-Red damage % text is hard to read during hazard encounters
-Radio chatter box seems to cut off messages

I have one more for you. after the quest with the drill site and the ice collapse the entire drill side disappeared, leaving a huge hole in the ice where you can drive your sub off the map. also if you have any optional quest in there but didn't finish it before the collapse the marker shows it still in the ice where you cant reach it anymore.

Game resolution Hz is not saved and reverts to 23.

Saving the game and giving a custom name with the keyboard and pressing ENTER to confirm it will disable prompt commands for gamepad. Restarting game required.

EDIT: sidequest "Mine sweeper" doesnt trigger as finished despite clearing every mine.

EDIT 2: Lost all my money on a save file i loaded after quitting the game for a day. Last save was one hour prior. This is the kind of bugs that destroy a games reputation.

EDIT 3: "Unnamed station" now constantly pops up in the bottom left corner inside every interior room. Started after defeating and boarding a ship with no crew.

Second zone map doesnt scroll on top, making it impossible to select Clifftop Garden as active quest or even realizing it was the quests destination.

All my loot and coins are lost in the autosave. I've played for about 4 hours and left the game to desktop (via the ingame menu) whilst in the forgotten fjords, a few seconds after an game autosaved progress message was shown. Otherwise I have only one manual save, which appears to be the start point of the game.:steamsad:

I've just played a bit more and tested more thoroughly. My first manual save did not save any of my loot or coins. My next 2 manual saves did. At no point did the autosave save any loot or coins.

I have this and also another quest related bug:
After forging the Upgrade for navigating safely in the Abyss, the Quest doesnt get marked as completed. I´m now stuck with that unfinishable Ice Drill Quest and nothing else.
tl;dr: completed Part of the Mainquest and didnt get the next step/quest. No Marker on the Map what so ever.

Sul has a bug with the rear dorsal turret where it fires towards the player rather than the reticle. Best as I can determine, the guns for that have been set to fire in reverse.

the inventoy item duplication is making the game unplayable for me as i started two new games and had the bug happen in both games around the time i reach the drill site.

i cant get rid of the items as you cannot discard anything, and the bug keeps on generating more items. i have tried to sell everything off to merchants but they are all out of money, meanwhile the bug keeps on generating fishfossils, torpedo's etc. not to mention all the forgeable materials.

this in turn makes salvaging pointless, wont be playing this anymore until this bug is fixed at the very least.

I have problem with quest "Saving Gregory". Autosave just threw me back in front of Brichton and if I dock I can't leave the city anymore. It says cannot leave while Gregory is in emergency. I have finished this quest before but now there is no npc who could trigger and finish the quest. Jay and Kat sit at the bar... like quest finished properly and Gregory is also fine in the deck.

Not sure if it has already been mentioned but I recently bought the Sul/Atlantica ship and one of its rear turrets always shoot exactly opposite of where you are aiming, example if I was shooting off my left side it would shoot off my right side, If I shoot straight ahead it fires behind me. Can even see the laser pointer for that one turret pointing opposite of the rest.

Okay first off, sorry for the state of this bug report, it's late (heh, or early depending on how you look at it)

This is a brand new game btw, not a save from an older version of the game.

Bug: Find Brother Miras Quest is stuck on the first step, even though I have found him and he is onboard my ship.

I had just gone down to the Abyss, noticed that 1000m crush depth wasn't enough, went back up to the Spiros Shipyards, got some more depth.

Here's where the issue comes from.
I went and explored Flame Fingers before even getting the "Find Brother Miras" Quest.
I got a little Radio message saying "nothing here" and then a converseation with the Sonar Operator about how I could follow the "Deep Scent Pods".

At the time I thought that was weird.
Made my way to Crevasse Edge, got the "Find Brother Miras" Quest.
Went back to the Flame Fingers, but the quest didn't progress.
I tried reloading the save, which let me explore the Flame Fingers again, but still the quest did not progress.

I rememberd the earlier discussion with the sonar operator so I followed the Deep Scent Pods.
I found Miras at the end of the trail, he is now onboard my ship, I went back to Crevasse Edge tried talking to the priest who game me the quest, but nope.

The quest is still stuck on "Search the Flame Fingers for traces of Brother Miras".
So yeah, can't progress that at all.

There is a barkeeper i believe in Spirios House that has dialogue about trade that will only play the buy/sell sound but not open the trade window.

In the german version of the game, during exploration battle dialogues names are not correctly assigned and show "attacker" or no text instead of the crew member that stumbled upon the battle event. not sure if it is intentional but it feels wrong when I read it most of the time.

After leaving a city I cant recall exactly, Kat was not at her station anymore.

Edit: Also, is it intended for the Tonnesburg Chef to never leave the ship again? I mean he doesnt bother me, but he doesnt seem to be of any particular use, either.

After obtaining the second Torpedo Officer there are now two "Fisher" Torpedo-Shooting Devices in my inventory which i cannot sell neither to normal nor to weapons traders.

I am also stuck with the naglfar, which I destroyed prior to finding house kuberi.

Using the outstandingly beautiful Atlantica Sul warship i got stuck in a radio tower after docking to a station inside of it.Edit: Its actually the station behind spirios-banquet where you can activate the light. a lot of luck and backwards acceleration while ascending and descending managed to get me out, but i had to take repair breaks as the collision damage was pretty high. I also believe you should somehow adjust the camera when using larger ships, it seems like the camera still expects a small ship which makes operating the huge ship harder than it needs to be. the same applies to the ship-change-animation where very little of the large ship can be seen.

Edit: The ship i believe to be called "Snapper" has issues with upgrade slots, I have no idea if there will be a level 4 upgrade, but the level 3. displays about 7 upgrade slots more than it should have. installing an upgrade there will keep it installed until I undock, consuming the materials needed for the upgrade. as soon as i undock it deletes that upgrade again.

Ice Drill Site - Quest doesn't finish and move on. See related support thread. Affects story progression. The developer has been aware of this since early 2017. Therefore, it is reasonable to assume this major bug affecting story progression will not be fixed within a reasonable timeframe. I have requested a refund.

The Naglfar can be destroyed- not sure if this is intentional or not. If it is blown up there is no wreck than can be boarded, making it impossible to progress the questline where you board it unless you reload an earlier save. This is especially bad because friendly AI vessels will attack the Naglfar and sometimes sink it while you are on board.

The Missing Crew Quest - Not entirely sure if this is a bug or not, but the strong currents in the tunnels are missing. Jay stil mentions them, but they are gone entirely. Also, if I remember correctly, before and during the early phases of the 1.2Beta, the ship you would meet outside would limp out, tell you the situation, and then leave. Now its constantly following me everywhere I go, even after quest completion.
Edit: The ship did disappear after a reload of a save.

Thank you guys for taking your time to document all of these issues, we cannot convey to you how much it helps us out! We are still hard at work figuring out and solving the more dire issues (save games wiping out inventory, items bloating storage containers etc) but we are going to get to every problem listed. We love you guys, thank you so much for your patience and your feedback.
