Could you please try verifying the integrity of the game files (instructions here)?

Hi, validating the integrity of the game files didn't solve the issue. Also tried to reinstall the game without success.

Thanks for checking! It's best to confirm that first.

So far, I don't think we've received previous reports of this happening. The backtrace you've given there seems to suggest that it may be related to input devices. To help narrow that down, could you try unplugging all input devices (except a keyboard to interact with Steam via) and seeing if the game launches?

Could you also send a copy of the game log and your player profile (details on where to find these are in the FAQ thread) along with a link to this thread to support@defiantdev.com?

Ah ha! Glad to hear you're up and running. Odd that InControl (the input middleware that Hand of Fate 2 uses) wants to send it haptic feedback signals.
