Could you try adding the following launch option (right click on the game in your Steam library, select Properties, and click "Set launch options") and see if that helps. You can adjust the resolution as desired and set -screen-fullscreen to 1 if you would prefer it to not run in a window (I find windows tend to be a bit easier when troubleshooting these kinds of problems!)
If that doesn't help, please email through a copy of your game log and your system specs and we'll take a look any see if we can work out what's going on. Best guess at the moment without any further information is that your graphics drivers aren't telling the game what resolutions are available.
The manipulation didn't work :c I'm always stuck on 720x400 What mail should I send my game log to? The game log corresponds well to the output log and player data profil ?? I reset my pc, it's brand new, and I installed all the updates for my graphics card. Maybe I made a mistake?
Thanks for helping,
Yours,
Redouane710
You can send logs, etc. to support@defiantdev.com. Details on where to find your log and player profile are in the FAQ thread.
If you're on Windows, can you also send along a dxdiag report[support.microsoft.com]. If you're on Linux or MacOS, could you also send along a copy of the Steam system profiler output (available under Help->System Information).
I sent an email to support@defiantdev.com with the details asking.
Thanks a lot!
yours,
Redouane710
In this case, we had a monitor that was running at 59.17Hz (which incidentally seems to have been a common refresh rate for arcade games in the past) with a single resolution. Using the tool suggested in this thread, Redouane710 was able to change that to 60Hz, and the game is now happily runs at the desired resolution.
