Fullscreen problem

Tried to get it fullscreen, but the screen turned black, and the game was still running. Maybe it's my fault. (screen def. - 1024x768)

Usually black screen on entering full screen means a mishap with DirectX.

Steam should be installing it automatically when it installs the game, but if it failed to do so, you can also do that manually by going into game's "local files" - _CommonRedist - DirectX - Jun2010 and running DXSETUP.
Or, alternatively, by downloading "DirectX redistributive package" from Microsoft's site.

If that does not do it, fullscreen mode can be disabled by going to "%LOCALAPPDATA%/DontCrawl" in Explorer and changing

fullscreen="1"

fullscreen="0"

in "settings.ini" file (open with Notepad or equivalent).
Or, alternatively, by pressing Up, Up, Enter, Down, Down, Right after running the game (entering the options menu, selecting the "fullscreen" item and flipping it).
