- Verify integrity,
- Reinstall,
- Update drivers,
- Clean reinstall drivers (if you have changed settings or created profiles in your graphics control panel, then these will be lost, moving this to the bottom of the list),
- Delete all saved game data,
- Delete all saved game data while the game is running (if the game crashing makes this difficult, then skip this),
- Disable steam cloud for the game;
| while it is disabled delete all saved data,
| launch the game,
| force it to make new saved data by tinkering with settings and creating something,
| close the game properly,
| now you can re-enable steam cloud.
The games saved data is found in:
"C:\Users\username\Documents\Uncrewed Game".
In the steps that call for "delete all saved data", delete the entire folder:
"Uncrewed Game".
You must have made a change to your computer that the game doesn't like, such as new hardware or software. Try adding it to the exception list of any/all anti-virus/anti-malware.
Also try closing any programs and ending any processes that could interfere with the game, such as apps that hook other apps and apps that scan other apps and monitor what they are doing.
Somethings that are notorious for this include:
Anything like RivaTuner or GeForce Experience.
Performance monitoring or behavior monitoring apps such as security programs (anti-virus), or anything like CCleaner/Speccy.
